The format didn't take very long, but there was a 3.5-4 minute pause between the start of copying and the appearance of '10%', and copying was overall slower than I expected. IIRC, the entire copy process took 12-13 minutes, much slower than perhaps a straight copy of the 8.3GB in a direct copy action. But, then I’d definitely miss the Mac retina display for sure and my workflow would be a bit more complicated because everything else I use is Apple, so I’m kind of locked in. You can go either way, and to be honest, I’d recommend not editing or grading on battery power in any case because it will draw a lot of power when running Resolve. Mac OS X Version 10.4.6 (Build 8I1119), Firmware update that came with Bootcamp. One virtual OS installed: Windows 2000, upgraded to SP4. The MBP sleeps reliably, but if parallels is running, a wake gives a complete restart. Are there any known steps to take to avoid this.

Every web page with video / audio content begins to autoplay (at the vid's highest volume) approximately 5 seconds after opening the page. I could disable this in Safari and Chromium, but see no option to disable the 'Autoplay' feature in Firefox. Worse, there are no plug-ins or extensions available that will allow this to be done. If you have had success disabling this annoying 'feature' (it's not a 'bug,' right?), please advise how it was done so that I may rid myself of these annoying vids. Thanks in advance.
