    Weekend Warfront: Assault on Ekrund
The ancient Gates of Ekrund guard the only mountain pass that is wide enough to accommodate an army. For the Dwarfs, recapturing these gates and sealing them shut is of vital importance in stemming the greenskins' tide of destruction. However the Greenskins remain relentless in their attempts to break through.
This weekend the Gates of Ekrund will be the weekend warfront from 12:00 on Friday to 12:00 on Monday Altdorf time. You get +50% XP and Renown in this scenario, and extra rewards from completing the event tasks.
Completing all tasks rewards the title: 'Gatekeeper'.
    Realm versus Realm
    Open World Campaign
    - Fixed issue that caused zones to lock without 3 BOs fully capped.
    - Realm lock will be applied when you first get in combat instead of when entering an RvR lake, this allows players to quickly get out of the RvR zone if they just logged in.
    - Realmlock will be refreshed when participating in a fort.
    Ranked Scenarios
    - Fixed issue causing bracket size to not shrink as much as it should with higher number of active scenarios.
    - Fixed issue with flag not being interactable after getting out of combat.
    - Lowered item requirements in below RR70 bracket from item level 45 to item level 40.

The newly implemented automation will keep releasing new names, from inactive characters, for you to use.

    - As the quest 'Return Fire' is currently bugged and we don't have a fix for it yet, the next quest 'Silencing the Cannons' will now be available at the same time as 'Return Fire' (after completing 'Training Course'). This should no longer prevent you from continuing the quests of the Empire starting area.
    Greenskin Chapter 15

    - Dwarf Detachment: You will now have to take the head of Longbeard Hjolfersson who is now patrolling between Blackwater and the Overtop Outpost

    Highlights
Weekend Warfront: Battle at the Cairn
The land of Ulthuan seems to have been built on tragedy. Some tragedies come from without, and are guided by neither malice nor whim. Others are manufactured and forced upon their victims like deadly poisons. The tale of the Brothers Blackcairn, Elthryril and Lothelryel, is one such tragedy. Lothelryel made a pact with Morathi to betray his brother, Elthryril. Using Morathi's magics, Lothelryel sought to take control of his line and follow Malekith. Yet it was Lothelryel who was deceived. The magic that would have imprisoned his brother entrapped both of them, even as their blades guaranteed their mutual destruction.
In places the rage and hatred of familial betrayal have seeped into the land, turning the sites of ancient struggles into magical wellsprings of dark power. Now a new battle erupts as Order and Destruction forces vie for control of the Blackcairn Estate.

This weekend the Battle at the Cairn will be the weekend warfront from 12:00 on Friday to 12:00 on Monday Altdorf time. You get +50% XP and Renown in the Blood of the Black Cairn scenario, and extra rewards from completing the event tasks.
    Realm versus Realm
    City Siege
    - Career & Renown trainers have been added to Stage 1 & Stage 2 of city sieges.
    - The cannons are now properly classed as siege weapons and only healable by abilities that can heal siege engines.
    Ranked Scenarios
The weekly mails with Triumphant Emblems have been replaced with a weekly event instead. We hope that it will provide much better visibility into your current progress towards gaining different rewards.
    - The prices for the Triumphant & Victorious sets have been reduced by 20%.
    - The ranked SC event slot item has been changed to 7 days for 200 emblems, instead of 3 days for 100 emblems.
    - The Stalwart Soulstone cost has been reduced by 20%.
    - When there's multiple ranked matches ongoing, it will start to avoid matching two players of the same class and archetype into the same match. This avoids setups where you have no single target punt and many setups where you would have no heal debuff. But when there's only enough players available for one match it will ignore this restriction.
    - Group queue Ranked scenarios give 50% extra rewards between 12:00 on Fridays and 12:00 on Mondays (same hours as weekend warfronts are active). Note: This does not include the group challenges described below, only when you queue up.
    - A command to challenge another group to a 6v6 match has been added. Use .groupchallenge <enemyplayer> with the enemy group leader name to challenge them to a match. Currently this gives a bit less rewards than a group ranked match that you queue up for.
    Scenarios
    - Changed the points per kill in Howling Gorge from 3 to 5.
    User Interface
    Multi Spec
A UI has been added to the Multi Spec system. It allows 5 slots to be used, and by shift-clicking them you can set custom names for them.

    Scenario Scoreboards
If a player is using a different archetype than their class true archetype an extra icon will be shown to display their current archetype.

    Mastery Tree Icons
Knights of the Blazing Sun and Black Guards will no longer pretend to be Disciples of Khaine and now have their own mastery icons.
    Before:After
    Content

    - Ghoulish Goodies: You will now have to find the Desiccated Hand in the Pile of Dirt, and the quest reward has been added
    Greenskin Chapter 15
    - Tag, You're Dead: You will now receive the warpaint to use on the tents, Redmane Masons will now also count toward the quest and the quest rewards have been added

    Highlights
    Weekend Warfront: Howling for Blood
The war-scarred landscape of Black Crag rings once again with the sounds of battle as Order and Destruction forces descend upon the Howling Gorge. Here among the labyrinthine gorges, the struggle for control of a vital pass of ancient Karak Drazh threatens to flood the canyon with the blood of the fallen.
This weekend Howling for Blood will be the weekend warfront from 12:00 on Friday to 12:00 on Monday Altdorf time. You get +50% XP and Renown in the Howling Gorge scenario.
    New scenario mechanic
The Howling Gorge scenario has been changed to a tug of war mechanic, like Gromril Crossing and Battle for Praag. The old bomb run mechanic was not very popular, and we feel that this new mechanic will make better use of this map.

    Realm versus Realm
    Ranked Scenarios
Specializations Trainers have been added to the spawn areas. They allow you to change to another spec of the same archetype as you currently have.
See multi spec section below for more details.
    Combat and Careers
    General Changes and Fixes
    - Deflect oil now works properly as a channeled ability
    User Interface
    Multi spec
A multi spec system has been added. This allows you to save and load builds when talking to a trainer NPC.
A build consists of mastery training, renown training, morale setup, tactics setup & hot bar setup.
We are working on a nicer UI for it for a later patch, but here is how it looks now. The numbers are the mastery points in each of the mastery trees.Note: There's a bit of a delay in the client before it recognizes new abilities you have learnt. So to get correct hot bar position for them you might need to load the spec twice. This is something we hope so solve in a future
    Hotfixes
    Hotfix #1 - 2021-04-17
    - Fixed issue causing trainers to disappear when multi-spec system is active.
    - The 'Reinforce War Engine' healer renown ability is implemented.
    - You will now get into combat when fighting NPCs in city sieges, you still don't generate morale, but this makes for example the Choppa & Slayer mechanic work.
    - Abilities that affect friendly targets can now be used on friendly NPCs as well.
    - Fixed issue causing adds spawns in dungeons to be level 1.
    - Changed Howling Gorge back to 12 vs 12 instead of 18 vs 18.
    - Reeenabled the multi-spec feature
    Hotfix #2 - 2021-04-17
    - Fixed a settings issue causing multiple problems, most notably missing bag rolls in RvR
    - Rams now have 10x more health and take 10x more incoming damage, so the 750 heal ability is no longer healing quite as much as before.
    - Fixed crafting trainers

    Highlights
    Weekend Warfront: Return to Nordenwatch
The Norse continue to assault the rain-scoured coasts of Nordland. The Empire navy are doing a fair job of sinking their vessels before they can reach the shores, but enough get close enough to get their warriors onto the beaches. With control over Nordenwatch, the ruined fortress out in the bay, the defenders may be able to use its cannons to guard the sea.
The call to arms has gone out from Nordenwatch! This weekend, battle for control over the critical beachhead while enjoying a 50% bonus to your XP and renown gain! Defeat your enemies and hold the Lighthouse, Barracks and fortress for your side!

This weekend The Struggle of Nordenwatch will be the weekend warfront from 12:00 on Friday to 12:00 on Monday Altdorf time. You get +50% XP and Renown in the Nordenwatch scenario, and extra rewards from completing the event tasks.
Complete all tasks to earn the title 'Hero of Nordenwatch' for order or 'Scourge of Nordenwatch' for destruction.
    Realm versus Realm
    Scenarios
    - The previous changes to keep players in reserve have been disabled and scenarios will now be filled up with any archetypes available in the queue. So the pops should be faster, but the archetype composition might not be balanced.
    - Earning a medal in a scenario now gives a small renown bonus as well. Medals are earned by getting top deathblows, damage, healing, protection or objective score on your realm.
    - The renown tick for dropping off a bomb, flag or part in those types of scenarios has been increased.
    - Added in hotfix: You can no longer capture the flag in ranked SCs if anyone is in combat. The flag mechanic is only meant to be used if a team surrenders or won't come out of spawn to fight.
    - Added in hotfix: Black Crag Keep Central Ruins Objective now point gain over time has been reduced from 4 to 3.
    Open World Campaign
    - Now you need to fully secure flags for them to count towards zone locks. You need to take the flag and wait until the timer reaches zero. Previously you didn't need to wait for the timer.
    Fortresses
The contribution system in forts has been revamped and now shares code with the city contribution system.
Instead of being a shared loot roll for both realms, it will be separate rolls for both realms, but with lesser bag types for the loosing side.
The number of bags have been increased significantly, especially the blue/green/white bag variants. Previously a full population fort would drop 40 bags in total, now a full fort will give 170 bags in total spread over both realms. This means that if you already have full invader, but you contribute enough in a fort you will have a much higher chance to win a bag that contains royal crests.
The base rewards for winning a fort is now 4 invader crests and the base reward for loosing is 1 invader crest, however both sides will get more loot bags than before if they contribute enough.
The renown tick for winning a fort has been reduced, but the kills in a fort will give more renown than before. Forts count as battlefield objectives for the Field of Glory buff now.
Opting out of bags is now supported in forts.
    Combat and Careers
    General Changes and Fixes
    - Cleansing a DoT now counts as protection on scoreboards. The value is the remaining non-crit damage of the DoT.
    User Interface
    Group/Warband Scoreboard
A Group/Warband Scoreboard has been added. It works similarly to the scenario scoreboard, but will display stats for members of your current group or warband.
The stats are counted since the group was created, but can be reset by the group leader.
This works in any type of content, PvE, RvR, Scenarios etc.
If players leave the group they will be removed from the scoreboard after approximately 15 minutes unless they rejoin the group before then. So if you crash but rejoin within 15 minutes your score is kept.
To show the scoreboard, press the 'Scenario Summary Window' keybind, while you are outside of a SC. It is ` by default.
Note: This new scoreboard will likely replace the previous RaidMeter addon, which does similar things, but only works in PvE dungeons. For now both of them works though.
    Content
    Quests
    Greenskin Chapter 14
    - Sans Choppa: You will now have to recover Rorg's Choppa from Buri Veigrsson, and the quest rewards have been added
    - Horn Heads: The whole quest line is now available and reworked
    NPCs
    - Should have fixed the issue where unattackable npcs were no longer clickable.
    Tickets
[18759] Celestial Corrupters and their Apprentices are now targetable and attackable
[18774] You can once again interact with the Herdstone to trigger the ToK unlock
[14248] The quest marker now displays both objectives
[14311] The last step of 'Horn Heads' now starts by using the Putrescent Tome, found on Khargon's corpse
[18779] Fixed issue which stopped lower leveled players from doing damage on lords
